"Connecting" for Eternity

Why does it just say "Connecting" and it stays there? I'm trying to get on a newly made server by my friend to admin.

well it has to do with your connection. Set your realmlist?

Did that, D1z. We got it to work on his realms, now when I click the realm it takes me back to the selection page instantly.

What you need to do is go into your "realmd" database (using SQLYog or Navicat) , go to the "realmlist" table and ensure that the address listed for your realm is correct. By default, it will be set to localhost (127.0.0.1). You will need to change this to whatever address your server is using, either a local IP address or a domain name.
