Flying Carpet display

Hello!
I have a problem on my own 3.0.8 server, when I use my Magnificent flying carpet I can't see the carpet but I can fly (swim in the air). Is there any way to change something so I can see the carpet?
would be very nice, cuz flying carpets are awesome ^^

And is there any way to change the speed of the Mechano-Hog mount because when I use it, it is normal movement speed.

Surely there is..

Just take a look at how the database is built.

1. Lookup Item (mount-"summoner") in "items" table.
2. Lookup the Skill/Spell (not sure atm sry) ID casted by item.
3. In skills / spells table, lookup that ID and copy the entry.
4. That entry should hold the model-info of the "original" mount ID.
5. Edit the new ID in.
6. Inject new skill/spell to database.
7. Copy item-entry from (1), assign new entry-ID, spell/skill-ID as well as speed/icon as wished, inject new item ID.
8. Use ingame.

(That's the 2.4.3 way from a year ago, guess not much has changed.)
PS: supposedly I'll do a little more detailed turorial on mounts and editing these days
