[Server] Can't connect [VSP Host] menu

    [Server] Can't connect [VSP Host]

    Hello guys, I need some help. I bought an host on VPSLAND.com :: Advanced VPS Hosting, now I got the host etc. and found the Static-IP.
    I didn't do anything that kinda far just Bought the acc and Copieng the IP.

    But.. If I try to run the server I can connect, but if I a outside connection do .. it says .. Unable to connect..

    may I have to set- up the host?
    or ..
    Edit my configs?

    Address needs to be your ip address at vpsland.com : No-IP DNS will route it to there.

    Bump. same issue, different host, Only difference is that I already set it up as Ranik suggested. If anyone could help I would very much appreciate it and +rep etc

    no it doesnt

    if his .org address is set to be resolved on his IP then it makes no difference what he puts there.

    also just a thought

    replace all this
    127.0.0.1 hypnoticwow.game-server.cc
    <Static IP> hypnoticwow.game-server.cc
    <Static IP> hypnoticwow.game-server.cc

    with this

    127.0.0.1 localhost
    <Static IP> hypnoticwow.servegame.org

    also go to your dyndns account and make sure hypnoticwow.servegame.org is set to resolve on your Server IP address


    however there could be other issues involved
