portal script not working menu

    portal script not working

    function StupidPortalThatDontWork(pUnit, Event, pMisc)
    pMisc:Teleport(530, -3499, 533, 19)
    end
    RegisterGameObjectEvent(502000, 2, "StupidPortalThatDontWork")


    its not actually stupidportalthatdont work but u get the point, made a portal with the ID as 502000, type 22, used 1327 as the disID and the portal spawns fine, just when i click on it all it does is "World of recall(old)"? about a 2sec cast time.

    Paste the Txt into Notepad and close, save as all files and use portalname.lua

    place the LUA file int the scripts folder and then open up ur server.
    Make sure to have the dll files up to date.
    It's been a while

    file name: Temple.lua
    saved in notepad.
    had all of that done but having my dll files up to date, not too sure about. As far as putting the file name + .lua i never understood why that's necessary. for instances i have another script for a mob...

    Unit:RegisterEvent("Jed_Spell1", 20000, 100)
    end

    function Jed_Spell1(Unit, Event)
    Unit:CastSpellOnTarget(30633, Unit:GetMainTank())
    end

    function Jed_OnLeaveCombat(Unit, Event)
    Unit:RemoveEvents()
    end

    function Jed_OnKilledTarget(Unit, Event)
    end

    function Jed_OnDied(Unit, Event)
    Unit:RemoveEvents()
    end

    RegisterUnitEvent(25, 1, "Jed_OnCombat")
    RegisterUnitEvent(25, 2, "Jed_OnLeaveCombat")
    RegisterUnitEvent(25, 3, "Jed_OnKilledTarget")
    RegisterUnitEvent(25, 4, "Jed_OnDied")

    and the file name is just "Jed" no .lua and works fine.

    Try doing the same with the portal LUA like u did with the Other script.
    Then place it into the scripts folder.
    If not then u may have to update the dll files in the script_bin folder.
    It's been a while
