    Creating accounts / auto make

    ACCOUNT CREATION HELP

    Ok so I've made my server online and its working (using no-ip.com). I'm running ArcEmu Wotlk 3.03 v12 repack. I'm wanting to know how I get navicat to open arcemu mysql because it doesn't show up. Or work for that matter.

    The other question if all else fails is how do I make it automatically create an account if i were to say type into my server: Account - Whatever Pass: Whatever. Therefore it will make that account and send it to char database for logging into.

    Thanks so much in advance for my long questions. +rep to working answer.

    alright, as for getting Navicat open, first download Navicat here:
    Navicat (Download) - the Most Popular MySQL Client for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X

    then open "connection" at the top left, the icon looks like a box with a green line through it. I will walk you through what do enter in the blanks here:

    connection name= Any name you want! Doesnt have to be anything specific. EX. WOWROFLMAO

    Host name//IP address= Localhost

    port= 3306

    User name= root

    Password= "YOUR MYSQL PASSWORD"- when you set up your Mysql and made a password insert that here

    Remember: Check the box under Password that says "save password."
    when your all done with this click "test connection," if it says "successful," then you did everything right!
    Now you will need to execute the SQLs, for this (for lack of time) I wil not explain. But go to this tutorial and see how its done:

    If you have any questions please PM me, I wil be on A LOT over the next week.
    GOOD LUCK!

    You can always use SPORA which is a web script that creates accounts through the web.
    But if you want to make that account an Admin or a GM, you will need direct access to the DB.
