Lag when running around

So I got the wife into wow, but she hates playing with other people. So I made our own server for the 2 of us.

Today I got it up and running finally, and noticed something.

Even though the 2 computers are connected via a router, with a 1ms lag, if anybody runs, they appear to "teleport".

I tried setting the compression setting to 9 in the world.conf, but no difference, and set it to 1 for the same result.

Im using ArcEmu if it helps any.

If you are downloading something, please stop

Make sure you dont have many .exe's open.

Restart.. umm reboot. Install again. Use a new repack.

Aspire used to have a similar bug on early WotLK revisions which made player movement appear choppy. Newer revs don't have this bug anymore, try updating.

if you open wow then alt-tab then go back it will do the lagging/choppy effect

The same problem can occur with retail (though on a less frequent scale)

Yeh many people have said that Viruses do cause Lag,
So WATCH OUT xD

Lawl. It's not lag it's the repack that hes using. It sucks, I've played on a server with people "Teleporting" It's just the repack it's obviously a brand new repack that just came out with 3.0.3 and it's not really stable enough to handle it.
