help with ArcEmu

I'm currently using mangos but I'm not sure if it's what I want to stay with or not. My problem is I can't find a good guide on how to get an ArcEmu like http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...ck-arcemu.html running on my computer. Mangos was a lot simpler to set-up imo and i cant seem to figure this out.

ArcEmu = more stable, more blizzlike (normally)
Mangos = less stable, more customizable

re: repacks - most aren't worth the bytes they're written in...
compile the core yourself, set up your own MySQL and find a decent DB like NCDB, WhyDB, LCDB, etc.

most people's problems seem to occur in the configs and making sure that passwords all match between the world.cfg, logon.cfg and MySQL's user and pass. or not setting their IP's correctly.
