Deleting items from database

I just had a quick question. i made a custom item and added it my database. i recently changed the item a bit, and deleted it from the database and added the new one. i used the same id so i wouldnt get confused. The only problem is when i try add that item it keeps giving me the old version.

Is there no way to completly delete an item? or do i have to just use a different id?

Dif ID should work, then type .rel items in-game

Eh, exit wow go delete your cashe, your chase saves the "Visual" So it will have exacally the same, once you delete your cashe folder turn wow back in login and see if its the same or not, if its the same, go into your tables, delete it within there
