    Sun++ / LUA?

    I am beggining on a server again(long time ago) and i noticed, that ARCEMu runs with SUN++ Scripts.

    What the *`?

    Is it the same commands as LUA, or something new?
    I'm surely not gonna master something new >.> If it's not the same, do any1 know 2.4.3 without Sun´++?

    Arc emu still runs on Lua or Lua++ or BLUA( but its closed for now i think) Sun++ i a DLL driven setup that is placed in your scripts_bin folder and Luas are placed in the Scripts folder.. they are different things.

    Sun++ = C++ approach to the AI for WoW, but more powerful (less stable) than the lua approach

    So it is worth enough mastering sun++ or just keep with lua, blua? I too spent too much learning lua scripting so I want to know if the new approach has noticeable benefits.

    I for one cant compile the lastest sun++, sure they instructions are clear but when it comes to compiling I get errors.
    EDIT: Nevermind I figured out what I did wrong.

    Yeah Lua and Blua or Lua++ are worth it.. they still work fine and they work ALONG with sun++( Since they are different things) so ya dont have to choose:P
