[Help]Maps

Hello, I extracted the maps folder into my arcemu folder with the exes, but it didn't work. So I tried again, it didnt work. I even downloaded them from someone else's post, didnt work. Could anyone help? Im using ArcEmu

I don't get any error message.. I just don't get flagged for PvP and I don't explore anything ingame..

Ok, umm. The maps folder in my source files is supposed to let people explore their map and flag for PvP right? It won't let me explore anything and I don't auto flag for PvP in contested areas.

Ehm they are supposed to be the maps like, it shows the ground and stuff(easily explained, for those who wanna mock me I know theres someone out there whos gonna do it anyways, but still )
so you can actually see something instead of being in a big space of nothingness
Check your config files if u wanna make it a pvp server.(that is what auto flags people when going into contested areas)

No, it was running fine without maps, but I just wanted to auto-flag people for PvP. Where would I edit in the config?

DId you move the folder called maps back to your Emulator folder?( Again as stated above people get mad when ya ask these questions but people still forget too)

Secondly did you make sure that the interfaction options arent enabled in your optional.confs?

The map not being explored thing is due to your maps having a problem did you use the right extracter like the English one if you use Eng client?

I used the right extractor, and I also tried a download link from these forums, both didn't work.

Are you confusing Maps and Vmaps? i know it sounds like im asking stupid questions but its easiest to eliminate the obvious first.

Normally when it doesnt show discovery on the maps its because something isnt right with your maps folder in the Arcemu directory..
Did you rename it? does it say copy of?

Nope, it's not Vmaps. it's just regular maps. No renaming or anything.

Please help? I already bought a $200 server and I can't release without PvP.
