Loading Charactor's List Prob??????

Ok i was finally able to figure out how to get my DynDNS working to connect to my server. Now the prob im having is everytime I log-in it completely authenicates my log-in and allows me to select realm but won't retrieve Charactor's list. Just stays on "Connected" then times out.

Im also tryin to log-in from my alienware PC and server is hosted on my other machine.

Any Ideas or Tips on How to fix this? Definately +rep for help with this.

And yes ive read the topics that talk about this and couldnt resolve it.
And i've opened all nessicary ports on my router I believe.

I know that problem, that it stucks at connected. But no, i cant give you a satisfying solution

I dont know when and why, but sometimes i have to press like 100 times the enter key till it gets further. But it can be that some minutes (or days) later it works on the first try, its a strange thing!

Most its better, when the system has more ressources to spare.

it will rely on a connection to the server
so either your connection
or the server the private servers relaying too
Check them both and that the details are both correct then if its still broken it beats me :S

Well the strange thing is, that it sometimes has no problems and sometimes not

It often occurs, if you terminate the server multiple times just by clicking it away. It may be, that a lot of processes are continuosly running even after closing the exe, when you dont make it as it is intended to close, so it may also be that mysql refuses the connections.

If you are connecting local , you're hosting from your other computer, make sure you add this is in the config files, And add the Realmcount to "2".
Then you shouldn't have a problem connecting localy.

Should i change the logonserver address to my External IP or do i leave it as 127.0.0.1???

Leave it at your local IP, else the server can't connect to your logon.

I also know that by setting the "Log" level to "3"(Debug) in your logon and world configs it won't require you to constantly hit enter 98% of the time. - Just ignore all the pretty yellow and red error messages LMAO. -

I dont use any IM clients. just dont trust them. lol altho Emus open more ports but i still dont trust them.

Basically what im asking is do i need to set my logonserver address to my IP (IE 234.34.123.14) <---not really mine just example, or can others connect with it set to 127.0.0.1?????
