Stormpike Archers-- making them shoot not melee?

i wanted to make my own BG type thing, so i made a table wall and put the AV Stormpike archers ontop of them, (cuz theyre supposed to shoot and not move) so i realized when i went to the horde one i made, they ran off the wall thru the air and attacked me melee, any way to make em stand still and shoot like in retail wow?
