How do i update form 2.4.2 to 2.4.3 ascent + rep for the helper

as you see i wanne know how to update my server without loosing anything i have an 2.4.2 server ascent dudey repack i dont want to loose account data quest object items etc.......
If you know how i would od this please post it + rep for the fixer:wave:

AND MOST INPORTANT wen i update i want my lua scripts TO WORk

1st make a copy of ur login & character DB

Then put new rev of any db at 2.4.3, apply the sql updates of ascent in the login/char db and world db, put 2.4.3 maps,2.4.3 DBC and finally change some configs.

How do i update form 2.4.2 to 2.4.3 ascent

Update opcode values and change/add/remove bytes in packets until you can login. Most of the time its in A9 that needs changed. :O
