Do I need WoW installed?

This may be a stupid question but If I am running a server strictly to host (not play) a server for WoW do I need it to be installed? I already have a fully functional server running I was just curious if I could dump the game or not.

great thanks I wanted to make sure cuz I have my server on a lousy comp with little to no hdd space and by knocking out a couple gigs will definately help.
