Hello Spartan.

I have followed your tutorial about ur repackV3. I first had probs with my SQL client. But I solved that. Now i have problems with my logging in. But it stays at "Logging in to game server." Then it goes back to the realmlist. Can u help me? I think the problems is in one of the conf files. Can u send them to me with my server ip: dutchpowerwow.no-ip.org

Or can u tell me where i should put dutchpowerwow.no-ip.org or 127.0.0.1

Following the guide everything to install V4 works great minus a couple small problems.

Boss mobs seem to not be dropping their loot minus gold.
For some reason when I run my mouse over any npc the hand dissapears. (Happens when my wife connects also, but we are the only 2 to connect so far)

And when running ascent-world I get some errors stating game

Sql query failed due to [Table 'spdb.gameobject_spawns' doesn't exist], query: [SELECT * FROM gameobject_spawns WHERE map = X] (X being several maps)

If i upgrade my server to 2.4 i will lost all things?
(like new instances,malls....)

do not upgrade it. the db and alls doenst work yet.. and spartan your public aint work.. :|

I am the admin in my server and when i try to speak with the admin set vendor in GM island nothing appears :S

Hmm.
I'm going to run this soon, but just a few questions:
Is the original map edited in any major way? I read about all the special events and obstacle courses, but are they just sticking out from the most obvious spot or do you have to do something to get to them?

I don't really care of anything special, me and a few friends just want to play a priv server, but I don't want it to be screwy.

Also, do you take quest bug reports?
Because I've seen a good amount of quests not working at all or such in the servers, and I wondered if anyone really felt like fixing them.

test it first with 127.0.0.1 and if it works maybe is something about your router/firewall

mmm use repack V4 link in emu server discussion its fixed now and the hand thing is for the info_str column in creature_names table try searching in mmowned forums a bit and you will find the fix for that

mmm well yes as a repack consist of a new database i will realease a complete new one for 2.4 soon and yes V4 is already released since a month or so lol

my public actually works th problem is that maybe you dont forwarded your ports... i didnt especify it in the guide as every router is different

admin vendor items were deleted due to hacks and people getting into gm island so thats why sorry :P also V4 is already released

well the obstacle courses can only be entered via portal so its not an obvious place about the quests... i dont know but i dont have time to fix all of them

edit your ascent-world.conf file and set the max lvl cap to 90 then use .mod level 90 and youre done
