Have u installed naviacat before? is so it might be a internal error reinstall and when u go to setup where the page asks u for ur pass and new connection name connection xxxx what ever u have it then the mysql host name put local host and pass xxxx what ever ur mysql pass is then test connection?
And if that dont work post again
you would have to recreate an MySQL host/connection with a differnt pass unstall and reinstall

Uninstall MySQL go to C:/Program Files/MySQL and delete the whole map and now reinstall MySQL. Problem will prolly be solved
People don't seem to realise you need MySQL aswell as whatever your using to Import and Edit your DB
