after going in the private server once and exiting out of it completly i cant restart the mysql consol.bat it just pops up and goes away right after that what do you do to fix it?

Answers in reverse chronological order:

5cap, you probably left the mysql server running, possibly minimzed to system tray if you tried trayit!.

badboy, use the command .lookupitem [itemname]. The number next to the name in the result is the itemid.

rubberducky, once you extract pico-noobpack.rar, there's another rar file inside you need to extract called "extract me to the wow directory.rar". Like the title says, you need to extract that to your world of warcraft install folder, and THEN run ad.exe.

popinthecan, I really can't offer much help on making your server public, sorry. I'm getting a high volume of questions, and can really only answer questions directly related to my repack. there are guides out there to help with everything else, many of the aforementioned guides being linked in the FAQ.

maxused, after extracting the "extract me to the wow directory.rar" file, you run ad.exe. This extracts .map files from your mpq's and puts them in a folder called maps/. Just click and drag to move that folder into your pico-noobpack directory once ad.exe is finished.

I also have a problem with all characters on the server, When ever you log back in all your items are given back (even deleted items, bags are swaped around, etc)

I've tried .save and .saveall but it hasn't helped.

Verybland, which console is giving you that message?

neo4ever, step 3 explains how to log in with the test account, and the FAQ explains how to create more accounts.

Arcane, I really don't know what could be causing that problem, sorry. Try checking your consoles for error messages "could not write to database" etc, after logging out. I do know that this is an isolated problem, I haven't experienced it or heard of anyone else experiencing it. I really don't play wow much, so if there was a new patch released, that might be a problem.

Yeah, no errors in any of the consoles. Swapped to a blizzlike Ascent server now. So now worries there, Although I miss the Mall on GM Island, (Must find out how to recreate it :P)

I got my server up and can connect to it but my friends can't. They have my IP in their reamlist and all that, I've done this before and it's worked but just not now. Any advice?
