GUIDE - Ascent 2.3.x Server w/ Mafiaboy's Repack

every thing is gr8 but the problam is when i log in my account and wana make a new char i get a dissconection from server and i see a report in my ascent.exe tells me that <<Sql query failed due to {table ' ascent.banned_names' doesn't exist} wtf... can i do ?

i have the same problem and it shows the same on my ascent.exe..

"Right Click on your connection and hit New Database. Call this DB "ascent" (w/o "" ofc). Make another DB called "ascentlogon" (once again w/o "" ^^) .
Now Double and then Rightclick on ascent and select Execute Batch File..."

how and where do i do this with SQLyog?..I have made the DB's but idk how to execute the Batch File...when i press the Execute Current Query button i get an error saying...
"Error Code : 1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ascent' at line 1
(0 ms taken)"

any ideas?

So have you found a problem with my server issue yet? Mafiaboy is the ONLY server i could get to work on my pc.. soo yeah

MAJOR EDIT: I found out why realms wasnt showing up i only started logonserver so that explains why i could login and get to realm selection but there was none BUT now i have another error? I cant screenie the logonserver error after about 5 seconds of logon server being up it does a FAST error and exits so i tried alot but i cant screenie it but heres what i could get of the ascent error when i start it

EDIT: ONCE AGAIN FIXED.. Now logon server starts up and exits immediately.. but ascents working completely

EDIT FOR LAST TIME: ITS ALL WORKING NOW! I had to take another logonserver.conf fromt he rar again and re-edit it i edited it before from one of these posts said to do but they was wrong but THANKS SOOOO MUCH! Im repping NOW!

it does that after everythings done hooking and ascent loading ect ^ thats ascent saying that..

I got mine to work finaly, after tinkering around with it.
I changed the ascent.txt file part with the <worlddatabase hostname etc etc etc Name = "ascentlogon" etc etc>.

Then i went to navicat, and deleted ascent database, and executed both batch files, characters and ascent9, onto ascentlogon database.

On the banned_names error, i opened the account tables on navi and replaced all nulls with 1's. I didnt fix the memory problem with things not being deleted or gear disspearing though. I also founda bug when ever i'd get knocked back or stunned, wow would crash.

Well first,,,,,,ty zackala i got my server up 'n' runnning but you posted a link on how to make it public...however it errors and sez its cant run with mysql when i run asent.exe

Also how do i get my account to become TBC as i got it installed and all but i cant play TBC content D:
