DudeI have a MySQL from furthur use of antrix and mangos servers... do i need to uninstall that and plop on urs? j/w coz it still flashes.. i wish i cud take a screenshot of what it says but it all happens in like a half of a sec

lol just unplug your Moden and it chnages Ip so u can downlaod again cosue it Trakcks your Ip to see if u have Downloaded from site in the past Hour

Meh i got the same problem :s but passwprd:YES fo me

EDIT: I think Phirotic just has to put a password, but for me, no idea, it worked for a few days, then it messed up and i get this crap

whell It doesn't show logonserver and other important files cuz they are missing T_T I dunno why I can't install it...

Er.. I can't put a img but I think I can say what it says

Access denied for user 'root' @ 'localhost' (using password : NO)

If presonal firewall is running on your machine ,please make sure you have opened the TCP port 3306 for connections.Otherwise no clien application can connect to the server.After you have opened the port press retry to apply the security settings.

if you are re-installing adter you just uninstalled the MySQL server please note that the data directory was not removed automaticly.Therefore the old password from your last instalation is still needed to connect the server.In this case please select skip now and re-run the Configuration Wizzard from the start menu "

soz guys been away for a bit, neway basicly make sure you dont have mysql already running when installing mysql if it is then close it some web servers like my website/wamp/xampp start their own version of mysql so close them.
