Chrispeee Ascent Repack 2.1.3 -2.1....

Not sure if I've got something setup wrong or it's just the way the database is at the moment. But I've setup my server, got it running and everything. Can log in, create a character and what not.

However, I like warlocks, so I made one and login. There's no summon imp spell and when I go to a trainer my name shows up as a bunch of funky characters. Some of the spells are wrong, for example Health Funnel is names Create Torch or something to that effect.

The quests so far work great. But the whole no imp and messed up spells kinda ruins it for the warlock.

Any ideas?

Hey Chispeee if your up to making a shopping center to the repack that would be realy nice i don't know if i'm the only one who wants it but thing about it it would be realy nice !!

I want it also, i'm working on a shopping centrum in antrix right now.

Chrispee, this is what i did

1. installed mysql
2. opened sqylog and connected
3. made a new entry called ascent
4. right clicked on it and pressed restore from sql dump

5. pulled my hair of my head at the error.


* Now i used an other database from some post and that was inserted without errors, i boot up server and than it looks like this

But when i try to login it sais unable to connect.

my logonserver always gets stuck on "Hooking signals..." and then when i try to start up ascent it stops at "Connecting to MySQL Database on 127.0.0.1 with < root : ********** >

make sure u have the mysql user root and pass ascent if not change them cause they are in the config files like that user root pass ascent mate

You don't have to change your pw chrispeee, just change the config files....

Lol, cera bro be patient. >.< !. Logonserver is SUPPOSED to get stuck at hooking signals. 2. Let the ascent have time. It doesnt start up in a flash... Oh and Chrispeee, on your public server guide not using hamachi, when you're forwardnig ports is the protocol supposed to be on TCP, UDP, or Both?

this has been a great work....but ive run into a problem that maybe you can clear up....the Tier guys upstairs seem to have an error. When I go to buy something off them it says "The Item was not found". If you know how i can fix this or maybe its an issue you mighit be working on Id be happy to know thanks.

You need the item for it, the thing that is required to buy it. Go to the currency vendor and get that required item.

ahh.....well I feel stupid...I guess im spoiled on servers that they have taken the item needed to buy the tier away
