i ADORE the support that everyone who has a problem is getting...i am also having a problem with the realmlist looping..i used to know how to fix it but i forgot...i atleast hope for some help here..maybe from the person who made this..or the person who modified it..

no, i did that once, you are supposed to go down to lyog not monyog

ok, are you supposed to let it go past hooking signals then use antrix, or during hooking signals, or before, because i can get them to both give signals that the other is going, but i get stuck when trying to log in because it doesnt get past the authentication part of logging into my account on the private server

you are supposed to start antrix when it SAYS hooking signals, that means it is waiting to hook the 2 exe's together

I can't get any screenshots of my problem, but Antrix.exe and logonserver.exe doesn't work. IT says it cannot find the "Dynamic Library MSVCR80.dll in the specified path."

someone should make a rule..when u create..or re-write a guide...you have the responsibility of helping people...meaning..either u help..or u can't post any guides what so ever..because look how many people need help and look how many people aren't getting it

I fixed my problem up there I need to email some Dll.

Ok I fixed the realm loop thing now, BUT I can't get past Connected (This is the Connected where the Realm loop was).

Edit: I can't change the name of my realm once I put the realm loop fix in. The realm name stays as "SomeRealm" no matter what I do. Could someone help me please? I'm about to have it up!

12. Starting up your server:

• Open the start menu choose All Programs->MySQL->MySQL Server 4.1-> MySQL Command Line Client. I reccomend making a desktop shortcut for this
• Now type in your MySQL password (the one you shouldn't forget) and press enter
• In you Antrix folder go into Server Files and then run logonserver.exe and antrix.exe. They are done when antrix.exe says Process priority adjusted to high. If they just flash and go away try doing the following:

- Open Navicat
- Double click the Antrix connection
- Open the database named Mysql
- Mark all the items in the Mysql database and drag them into the Antrix database

• Make shure Navicat, MySQL Command Line Client, Hamachi (only for public servers), Antrix and Logon Server are still running
• Open up realmlist.wtf in your WoW folder and make shure it say set realmlist 127.0.0.1 or your Hamachi IP (only for public servers) and save that file. I suggest using notepad to open it

13. Open up WoW and login using the account you just made. It can take a few tries but if you're patient you will get in.

I also need to ask for one more thing. Where are the GM Vendors on GM Island? I thought the repack came with it. Where could I get the GM Vendor things?

I would like to point out that I am no one's personal Antrix Support Monkey.

I re-wrote Herleybob's guide so that it could be much more easily read. I didn't want +rep.


Don't expect me to sit here and play tech support for someone else's repack. I did my part by re-writing the guide so that it could be understood. I did not sign up to be anyone's personal savior for setting up an antrix server.

I have a job, a personal life, a -retail- WoW account, and my own Non-JulianX Ascent server.

A simple "Thank you Rukkus." would be nice. If you have a specific problem, start a new thread with your questions in the appropriate forum.

NOTE: I say APPROPRIATE forum because if you check the "Emulation Server Guides" forum which is the root for the new "Antrix Guides" forum, you will see "[NO QUESTIONS HERE]"

The Guide WAS the help. Plain and simple. People had a problem understanding the original. I re-wrote it. Done. End of my responsibility.

Plenty of people had no problem with the guide. I've had many PMs thanking me for the guide telling me it worked just fine. Plenty of replies saying the same.

What it boils down to is this: 1) Lack of Microsoft .Net framework

2) User Error. Someone didn't read the guide carefully enough and screwed something up.

Hey i got pretty much everysingle thing working did it perfectly.. but after i log on and it says "Success" and it brings me to my realm suggestion thingy... i press "select realms" and it bring me to the charecter selection screen saying "Logging Into game server" and just stays like that till i hit cancel and when i hit cancel... It just brings me to the realm list and asks me to pick a realm again plz hElp Anyone?
