Hey uhh, I have a problem with this. I get everything working fine, and then I start up wow, I log in, go to the realm selection, press it, and then it saids "Logging into game server, and then it goes back to the realm selection. Anybody know why it does that?

Oh yeah, and for people thinking it does not work because they are stuck at connected, retrieving character list, etc. You just have to keep clicking cancel until you get in.

Don't know if this will help those of you with the "Logging to the Game Server" and then getting booted back out problem.

I went through about half the pages of this thread and didn't find a solution, maybe it was there and I missed it.

Anyways, it seams that the conf that come with this repack are set up for you using the server on the same machine as your WoW client. I on the other hand am using the server on one machine and my client on another. So following the guide I got the login boot problem.

The fix for me was in the realms.conf. At the bottom of the file where it has Realm1 information you'll need to change the address from 127.0.0.1 to the ip of your machine, typically something like 192.168.etc.etc Once I changed that, restarted the server logged right in.

I would imagine, if one is trying to allow people outside of your LAN to log in to your server you would most likely need to change the address to that of your dynamicdns or no-ip address that you get.

And leave the addresses in the other 2 conf files set to 127.0.0.1
