[Guide] Alpha server (and client)

make sure the server is still running, press change realm and see if you can see the server there and if you see it double click it. If you dont see the server there and the program is running you prolly set the ip wrong or something

I tried putting my own IP in, and 127.0.0.1. Neither worked. Also, change realm doesn't seem to work. =/

you need to start wow with the shortcut you made, not the server tool.

did you download the whole package or just the server?
the only other thing i can think of is to make sure nothing is blocked by a firewall

When you make the shortcut, remember to have a space between "C:\WoW\WoWClient.exe"[]-uptodate

i have never tried, but you can try changing their realmlist.wtf to your IP and see if they can find your server

I downloaded the whole package, and I turned off my firewall. Nothing =/

i dont know whats wrong then, you might want to ask an expert or someone else that is good at this since im not.
