    Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I've been pretty busy with real life.
    Trinitycore just committed a HUGE change to their repo that made my guide obsolete. Expect a new guide within the next few days.

    Hello i'm currently trying to do this, but there isn't a file with that name : 'Open up your source folder. Then go to /SOURCE/WIN/
    Open “TrinityCore&Script VC90.sln” with VC++'

    neither is there a source folder, any ideas?

    If you would have read the huge text that states that the guide is out-dated, you might not have had a problem :P
    I'm waiting for the TC devs to stablize their repo and stop making MASSIVE changes before I rewrite the guide

    Heh, plus right above their post(s) is a post that says this guide is out dated, & right above that is where you commented about TC making the guide obsolete! Isn't it fun dealing with users who can't even be bothered to read?

    Honestly, with all the massive & sweeping changes TC is making to the repo, I think it would have made more sense to just take it off-line until they're done messing about with it. But I suppose all the users would whine incessantly if that happened....(sigh)

    what you can do to make it faster is this:
    Open a command prompt (cmd.exe)(run --> cmd)
    now do this:
    Code:
    mysql -u root -pMYSQLPASSWORD -D world < MYSQLQUERY
    mysqlquery is the full path to the sql file you're executing

    that should shorten the time it takes by quite a bit.

    can you provide e with an example for the mysqlquery

    Binfield Just for future things SOURCE is the folder that you made for this. let it be C:/trinity/win or on your desktop or where where ever you put this. just go in to that folder.

    So how goes the Updating Myran2? Is trinity still screwing about with the code? (I haven't been on their site in a while).
    Just curious if you're close to updating this great guide
