This is a simple guide to what the numbaz in teh columns of Item.dbc mean once it has been converted to a .csv.
The records in this table state which items are to be recognised by teh WoW client.
I did some experimenting with the numbaz that I've found in a table and compared them to numbaz that I found in my database. Heres teh first line in Item.dbc E.G. = 25,2,7,-1.#QNAN0,1,1542,21,3
And here is what I presume teh numbaz to stand for:
25=EntryID, 2=CLASS, 7=SUBCLASS, '-1.#QNAN0' is presumely the item name part which should be left like this for every line, 1=QUALITYOFTEHITEM ,1542 would be the DisplayID, 21=INVENTORYTYPE, 3=??? <-Leave as '0' for now.
CLASS i suggest, would work out to be for example if teh item is one-handed/two-handed/off-hand/shoulder/legs/gloves etc.
SUBCLASS would be like 1-hand axe/Polearm/Dagger etc.
QUALITYOFTEHITEM - Uncommon (grey), common (green), rare (blue), epic (purple) etc...
INVENTORYTYPE - Not sure how to work this out but is best to do this by looking at your item SQLs or database.
Teh '3=???' part, I think is wether teh item is an equipped-at-teh-start kind or not. As I said, leave as '0' for now. Experiment as you will.
(Teh Item.dbc talked about in this post is located inside of patch-3.MPQ in your WoW directory Data folder)
