Make your server public without hamachi! (antrix!)

Ok, I can get on perfectly but my friends cant get on. Do I NEED my won realm to 127.0.0.1? it stays at success for them

It let's me on fine, but it's unable to connect for them. I didn't forward the ports, because I'm on wireless. Know what to do?

I got my previous problems fixed, but what are is my logonserver supposed to say?

I get stuck at Logging in to Game Server >.> am I doing something wrong? i look at LOGONSERVER.exe and the last thing it says is "registering realm 'My realm name' under ID 1." and it doesnt do anything after that, could that be related to the problem i having? +rep for help, thx

Part Two:

1. Open C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts.file
2. At the end of the File add the following.

127.0.0.1 (Dynamic DNS)
(Internal IP) (Dynamic DNS)
(External IP) (Dynamic DNS)

Dynamic DNS = The DNS you just created at DynDNS.Com

I recently did a format reinstall of xp pro and WoW. on my system I dont have this file. "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts.file"
There ae files named::
host
hosts.ics

I had to manually create the file.:yuck:

Also you asked on improvements to your guide?

Give an example of step 2. If your setup works, how about an exaple of your host.file only with your IPs modified??

I followed these steps and now my Antrix Program will not open but, my logonserver program will load fully... Any idea what could be wrong?

Crap ive done everything you say to do but when i try and play im stuck at Logging in the game server and it never moves... just sits there forever what do i do!? Please help!

Nevermind now its letting me connect but there are no servers to choose from! I did everything except open the ports since im on a wireless router.. Please help!

Nevermind.. Now i can get in.. but my friends cant... I have them make their realmlist.wtf say set realmlist (my external ip) but they cant join... so we try my DNS i made on the site and that doesnt work either! What do i do?

Thanks for this guide. I've been using hamachi forever and I've seen the guide, but didn't get around to setting it up with dyndns until now.

Is how I have it set up for the new versions of Ascent. Is that correct?
