I downloaded 3.1.3 dbcs, but it's saying possible invalid whatever when I try to start the world server. Us: 231 Them: 232. Any way I can just...change the check so it just accepts 232? Doesn't seem like it would hurt anything =/

It is better if you just extract the DBC files yourself, and have them work fine. DBC structures are important, they hold important data that the DB doesn't. So I would advise you get working DBC files, the best way being to extract them yourself (How-To is in the guide). Any questions just add me on MSN.
The settings were set to x64 like you said, yet the same issue still pertains:
"1>------ Skipped Build: Project: pcre ------
1>
========== Build: 0 succeeded or up-to-date, 0 failed, 1 skipped =========="
and
"1>------ Skipped Build: Project: zlib ------
1>
========== Build: 0 succeeded or up-to-date, 0 failed, 1 skipped =========="
Is there some type of error in syntax or something rather that is causing this to happen? Can't quite get a grasp on the issue on hand O.o
You built each item individually?
Updated Guide - 3.1.3 DBCs
Well then just download them from the guide. I added a DL link.
"Now browse to the "dependencies\Output_Debug" and the "dependencies\Output_Release" and copy the .lib files (zlib & pcre) into the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\lib" folder. Finally, copy the two DLL files into "C:\Windows\System32". You are now on your way to becoming a daily compiler!"
Are you talking about the RivalDB link? Thats the only new link I see so far. I don't see links for zlib and pcre lib/dll files :P (x64)
Oh lawd haha. I was talking about the DBCs, so many people, so many questions. And I can't add a download link for you, they need to be compiled on the system they are going to be run on.
I am having the same problem. The extractor posted here doesn't seem to be working, a cmd window just pops up and instantly closes. I have tried other extractors and they seem to extract the files, but when I put them in my HS compiled folder, I get the same "Us: 231 Them: 232" error. I'm almost positive that I have done nothing wrong, what should I do?
i am now the third person this is happening to.... woooooooot... any ideas vindicated? should i just extract them myself?downloaded 3.1.3 dbcs, but it's saying possible invalid whatever when I try to start the world server. Us: 231 Them: 232.
update... I extracted the dbc files myself and the problem still persists. the message keeps repeating istelf over and over.

I HAVE THE BALLS TO ASK STUPID QUESTIONS
nice.............
You guys have been using the "trunk" Aspire, which is 3.0.9, and your trying to use my 3.1.3 DBC files :P. If you want 3.1.3, you need to browse in the Aspire SVN to branches/3_1_0 and compile that <3.
branches/3_1_0 = 3.1.3
trunk = 3.0.9
Ok, so I recompiled everything and it seemed to work out good. I started up my world server and logon server and it seemed to be running correctly.
I was able to log in and get to the character creation screen, but when I hit the "Create" button it instantly disconnected me. So I shut down the world and logon servers and went into my db and dropped the world and logon db's. I recreated the db's and ran all the sql files and updated everything again. I started up the .exe's and now I am getting this

and

The logonserver just closes after it pops up. I checked my configuration files multiple times and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advanced, your guide has helped me a lot and I thank you for that.
