[Beginners Guide] How to make a Vendor

4). Save the WoWHead Link of the NPC and write &xml besides the Link.
5). Then there should be a column called: <icon displayId="ID">
6). Copy the Numbers between the; "
7). Remember to save the Number!

I also don't have a clue what to do in these parts. I got SQLyog and have managed to get it working but not really sure how to use it, up until now I have only been making custom weapons and just importing them with MySQL as they were. I haven't had to edit anything. Using ArcEmu at the moment. So far none of my attempts to make an NPC or Vendor have imported into the game correctly.

Jtech13: Go to WoW-V and change it to your Faction (Vendor)

xxzel0txx: You can Download the SQL Base of the Vendor you made, and Execute it to your DB.

Thats because your Core dosn't accept that kind of SQL "Setup".
There's to options of Downloading the SQL File.. Try download and execute 'em both.

Hmm I went to wow-v.com and now there is only a option to add vendor ID spawn and the items, but then again how would I make a vendor out of it then lol. Think they changed the options or something because now you must go to npc/mob maker but then you don't got options to act like it's a vendor that can repair and there are no fields of adding items.

The problem is, I can't name the vendor anymore, I can't spawn it anymore, I tried giving it the same ID as a vendor of mine but when executing the batch, it says unsuccesfully because there is already a command line containing that ID, namely that of the NPC/MOB ID I created and intended for it to be a vendor.

I don't know if wow-v is broken but this surely sucks because now there isnt really a easy way to create a vendor now.

Another way to get the displayid is to go to wow.allakhazam.com, pick a vendor and click the "XML" button. Scroll down untill you see the <displayID>"number"</displayid> thing (think it's like that). The number in the middle of the 2 tags is the displayid.

Oh, to add items just go in-game, spawn the vendor and write .npcadditem <id>. It's a better way since then you can always add items, including custom items.
