i can start world and logonserver now, but its still an error..

connection failed due to: "Unknown database "characters" its the error on logonserver

and

connection failed due to: "acces denied for user "root" @ "localhost" <using password: YES>

whats wrong? ;s

First problem I've never had myself, so I can't say.

Second problem, easy - Go into your World Config Files. There will be a line at the top with "Localhost - Database : world - Username : root - password : ascent (Or whatever you choose when you Installed MySQL)

For Commands just type .commands and it shows EVERY single command you can use

Just came across a slight problem... where are the SQL files? I've Installed it into C:/
But when I start up the server (ofc no databases so it starts up nothing)

Is there meant to be no SQL Database or is there and I haven't found it?

ok im having dk problems i do the quest where i make a runeblade but it says to search the wepon racks for a weapon but i cant use the weapon racks

I have server itself working pulbic, i can acces it from anywhere and i can make accounts manualy, I have no website and i need to make a working account creation page so accounts can be made remotly. Great guide, the repack works! Besides everytime someone makes a DK and enter the world the server crashes. Why?

The commands on ArcEmu is kinda new. Just search on google or something..

.charcter additem (ID)
.character advanceallskills 450
.character learn all
.lookup item (NAME)

This is WRONG !

Understand ?

.command gives you a list of commands you can use with your current 'rank' (ie gm, admin or normal user).

Also, .help is suppose to give a help menu, but I have not tried it myself


Edit: Okey, I'm having some trouble here. I have another pack installed on my cpu, so I'm guessing that is why I get this error when I try to run the server:

Connection failed due to: 'Access denied for user 'MY USERNAME' @ 'localhost' <Using password: YES>'

Anyone know why this occurs or what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance

Edit2: Nevermind that, I fixed that error, I'm now getting another one, so going in the right direction! Will post here when/if I figure out the problem and what caused it to help other users that might experience the same problem!

the actual SQL databases are named differently in this repack, "logon" is called "characters" for example so if u are doing things like trying to make a site make sure that all your configurations are set to the corect names for the given repack.
