[Guide]: How to create a 3.0.3 private server!

I really like this guide and I've seen many. It's not too dumbed down (click this, do that, type this w/out really showing what is going on). you can see that you're setting up a DB, adding data to the DB, editing at DB entry. But it's not overly complicated.

Now for my problem

I've had a 2.4.3 server for a while now. When I started with 2.4.3, I ran into the 'stuck at login' issue. This issue as i remember is because the client version does not match the server version. The server version in this guide is 9183 according to the arcemu-logonserver.conf file. My WoW client version is also 9183, but I still get stuck at the login screen.

Is there something else that can cause the 'stuck at logon' error? How do I fix this?

ps. I am running the server and the client on the same box.
