Hmm..server working and everything great =D but how do i add custom items? i made a query and executed it in Navicat but it says "[Err] 1364 - Field 'unk_flag1' doesn't have a default value" any idea how to fix this? and one more thing wats the map code for the violet hold custom raid? =P thx AWESOME REPACK!!!!

There is a fantastic MaNGOS database editing program called Quice. You can do anything from creating quests, making/editing items, to editing/making game events.

Great guide. This is my first time with a wow server. I had to troubleshoot a bit but with a little help from reading this and the other post for this repack I made it.
Server is up. Created a gm and a user for myself. How do I create a character that is not level 70? Maybe a dumb ques. but I have no idea what to do. Are my characters all level 70 bc I setexpansion "name" 2? thanks for the help and guide

Maybe you are in unspawned locations? Such as Grizzly Hills, but if its somewhere else, No idea. If so, reinstall the database.

About halfway down your mangosd.conf file look for 'StartPlayerLevel = 70'. Just change that to whatever level you want. Have a look through the rest of that conf file while you're there, there are some other very interesting things you can change too.

When I execute batch file, how many queries will it go through? mine's been through 205870 now and it's been 3500 seconds to do that. that's 58 minuts (or an hour) and the progress bar has only moved 4% or something like that. At this speed it'll take till tomorrow evening....

anyway, as long as it's running with no errors, i guess its fine? -or?

K, it says that I require some DBC files that are missing.. ./dbc/BattleMasterList.dbc
and ./dbc/Map.dbc
it says both files exist but they are both different?
Battlemaster = 34 instead of 33?
Map = 118 instead of 123?
Wtf??

whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i cant do nothing in mysql when i install it i execute and the security setting get a x on it saying
says: Error Nr. 1049
Unknown database 'mysql'
