I'm testing the connection with Navicat and it says it cannot connect. It says my password is right, but my username is wrong. I am using the username setup for my GM account on my private realm, is that the username I need to use? I don't remember ever setting up another username/password.

I set up all the ports but when i open wow it says "connot connect to realmlist server"

in my realmd.exe which is running it says
"accepting connection from 127.0.0.1:4443
user 'insanesk8123' successfully authenticated"

but it wont let me connect

Hmmmm I did all you sayd But My friends & me are stuck at Choise Realm

I've got it all working and friends can be authenticated and connect.

The thing is, whenever i or them try and connect to the realm. I get the 'Connecting to realm' or whatever the message is, then it punts me back out to the realm select screen.

someone help please , i just saw a QUESTION and jotherogue sayd he better cant begin if he dont know that, my question is when and where did i make a MsQl Mango DB Account ? cause , i do connection with Navicat ... and jotherogue sayd... on this forum u need to insert ur account + PSW from MsQl Mango DB ... But what is that acc ?? is it the same ACC when i logg in on the server orr..., Please jotherogue dont Ignore this or tell me i am stupid .. Please help me with this issue ! I really dont know it .. a. Click on Connection
- Connection Name: (Whatever you want)
- Host name/IP address: locahost (unless you have it hosted on a server elsewhere us it's address)
- Port: Leave it as is unless you know you need something different which i doubt.
- User name: User name of your Mysql mangos DB
- Password: Password of your Mysql mangos DB
- Test your connection, if it doesn't work your username and password are wrong or you don't have your mangos DB running.
b. Click OK and your done with setting up NaviCat!

and emm when i downloaded the pack from ShadowHunters repack i just opened it and clicked on start msql and server .... i never had to insert an acc... or am i wrong ? grz White

Emm i know the Password and Username of my MSQLadmin 1.4... Still i cant use that for NAVICAT :S

Hello! I wonder what you mean whit
1. Goto <system folder>\system32\drivers\etc\ and open the file called 'host' with notepad. (replace <system folder> with the location of your windows folder.. i.e. c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\)

megamusen im sorry i cant help im not so far but i hope u can help me... Cause always when i press my Msql Acces and PSW in NAVICAT it says The security settings could not be apllied.
Error number 1045
Acces denied for user 'root'@'Localhost' (using Password: NO)

its the navicat part, when i try to make a connection, what username and password do i use? cause i can see lots are having trouble with this.
