Getting ICON Id's working.

Hello Mmowned! I'm not sure if anyone has released this yet, but it is a guide about getting Icon ID's working, so they don't show up as a ? In your bag.

Now, find an item you want to create. Say you base the weapon's display off of a Warglaive of Azzinoth. Throw that Display ID on the wepaon, and create it.



ALRIGHT NOW! It's created, now we just need to get the Icon working. Find the which ever weapon that you used for the display ID in the DB, and DELETE it. Once this is done, delete the cache, and restart the server!! And the weapon should have a working Icon ID. Handy tool I use, thanks guys

This addon will remove the ? that is on the items, and will change it to what it should be, and the reason for the ? is because blizzard make it in the dbc's that a icon needs a entry to match with theres to get a icon, but if that entry id is 99999 or something it will not fix it in the dbcs and it will give you the ?.

Hm... well the addon doesn't benefit the whole server D:, but thanks for it. I'ma download it

You can't fix it so it helps the whole server, any custom item will have this problem, what your trying to fix is client side, that means you need to make a patch or have a addon to get the item displays to work right.
