so when using this I should have the 2.4.3 patch installed. It wasn't very clear in the tutorial part about the wow side of things. I've got the 2.0.0 installer and can get the patches. I'm just not clear on whether or not I can install expansions or not. Thanks in advance on the help and Hi all I'm new here and look forward to submitting a few models when I get into character modding shortly. I'm a Multimedia student so it's not like I have no way of learning and have dreams of grandeur.

EDIT: just went and did it to find out for myself. If anyone else is wondering (noobs like me) yes you do need to update.

Jorad maybe you are stuck in a connection loop (chk search there are more ways to escape that) best way 2 escape that (4 me it worked) is to config ur files with localhost ip 127.0.0.1/32 (there shud be from the begin like that but perhaps u messed a lil with them ) and works like a charm (ps im on arcemu) but shud work on ascent too ^^

roflmao!! ArcEmu didn't copy from ascent thats complete bullshit. ArcEmu may be similar to ascent but no they created they're own emulator. Don't say anything that you're not 100% sure about, because you just make yourself look stupid.

If you say something make sure your right about it, ArcEMU is an emu that was created(From the ascent source) When burlex quit.
After that andy continued it. also arcemu has stolen code from various sources.

You should use AspireCore now andy has closed ascent and will not release it for a while(Thanks to FagEmu, ahem, ArcEmu).

You need to go back to your config files. The password in your world config where it signs on must be the same as the password in your logon config
