[GUIDE] Setting up Vatralaus new site

This is for newbs that need help setting up Vatralaus new website!!!




Step 1. Start off by visitng the main thread. http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...ml#post1012633

Step 2. Download if you havnt already, and find the main file at the moment. Index.html

Step 3. Right Click and open with notepad or wordpad.

Step 4 Go to notepad or wordpad and at the same time press Cntrl + F.
Cntrl F... Then type in "Phasellus port" .

Step 5. Scroll all the way to the right... and delete the text in "" so


"Phasellus port dasdsad dsad or w.e he typed in spanish i think."

and replace with your text.

Step 6. Type in your news for your server like welcome please enjoy or what ever
then after that cntrl S and it will save.

Step 7. Go back to the folder wowsite (you can exit outta index.html in notepad) right click on account.create.php open with notepad or wordpad, then edit the stuff to your servers info already explained there.

Step 8. Download Wamp if you havnt already ill provide download link here SourceForge.net: Downloading ...
Install and what not.

Step 9. After installed go to install directory usally C:/WAMP/ open up the WAMP folder find WWW folder so once you found it you should be in this directory.
C:/WAMP/WWW/ ok delete every thing in there, should only be one file.
After deleted go to wowsite folder and open it drag all the files inside the WWW folder. and go to your desktop and in the bottom right corner find the wamp ico find Put online and click it.

Step 10. After Step 9 go to your internet browser. If you dont have mozilla gtfo, and go download it because internet explorer sucks. any ways in the browser wich should be mozilla type 127.0.0.1 and press 'Enter" or the little green arrow!
and the website should be there.

Step 11. Celebrate by dancing or /cheering and either keep reading for the Harder and little longer part.


THE HARDER PART

Ok this is the harder part.
This requires Photoshop. So if you have not downloaded Photoshop do so by clicking here. Adobe - Downloads
(WTF PHOTOSHOP CSEXTENDED 4s!!!!! FFS) Any ways your gonna have to use a trial unless you know some "Guy" that has a a "Free" "CD Key" and if you didnt get the "Words" in ""s i mean get a keygen or a crack thats ill "Legal" i guess but i for sure didnt "Scam" adobe outta 200 dollars. and i recomend "Buying" it.

Wait for it to install after "Paying" for it.

1 hour later and your ready for the steps!

Step 1. Go back to WAMP folder, then WWW once inside find folder called PSD. Open it then double click the first one Status.

WAIT!!!!!!!!! forgot to do this first... go to C:/Windows/ and leave the folder open go back to wowsite folder open fonts drag the font to C:/Windows/Fonts and it will install in like a second.

Back to photoshop edit the text only and by doing so click the T button for text. then in the top left corner kindait will show the name of the test click it to see them all then scroll down to Dirty ego.

WAIT!!!!!!!!! nvm go to this link download and do the same thing u did with the last font http://img.dafont.com/dl/?f=morpheus

Once installed scroll down to morpheus and use the font then click high rates and type Blizz like or instant 70 w.e your server is! then type or edit the rest to your liking.

then save the file as
status.png in the images folder and overwrite the existing one.

Then go back to the psd folder in C:/wamp/WWW/psd and double click the Title psd
for this one use the dirty ego font. and type your server name or w.e.

save as title.png in the images folder over write any existing one.

Then your ready to go...

then i recomend you not use armory unless you really wanna know how to set it up, if so conitnue reading,

if you dont want armory then go to psd title1 open it edit it and save as
armory.png and open up index.html again with notepad or wordpad, and cntrl f type armory.png scroll to the left and delete armory/index.php and change to the link you want it to go like, Downloads.php or downloads/download.php or w.e you want it to go youtube myspace mmowned w/e you want.



EXPERT PART


C:/wamp/WWW/armory/configuration and right click mysql.php and open with notepad

scroll down till you see test realm in ""s change that to your realm name
both of them
"Test Realm" => array( "TESTREALM" , "DBUser" , "DBPass" , "localhost" , "arcChar" , "arcworld" ),

arcchar and arc world are the char database and world database so it may differ if u use mangos or sumin.

scroll till you find this

$MySQL_User["WEBSITE"] = "root";
$MySQL_Password["WEBSITE"] = "icasisa";
$MySQL_Host["WEBSITE"] = "localhost";
$RealmDB["WEBSITE"] = "armory";
$WorldDB["WEBSITE"] = "wowcro";

change to

$MySQL_User["WEBSITE"] = "USER";
$MySQL_Password["WEBSITE"] = "PASS";
$MySQL_Host["WEBSITE"] = "localhost";
$RealmDB["WEBSITE"] = "armory";
$WorldDB["WEBSITE"] = "arcworld";

once finished close and save ofc

then open in the same directory the file
setting.inc and edit it

i dont even have to explain what to do there it already does.
after finished go to navicat or sqlyog w.e you use for ure server.
make a new table called "Armory"

then right click it and execute batch file look for armory/sql/upd_sql_statements.sql and execute it there.
then after words go to your char database arcchar and execute the other two allies and tblitems. and then your done.

(Testing to see if it worked for me)

Worked, so now as you saw when you go to the armory main page you gotta edit it to your liking... again. so go to armory folder... armory/source/index.php
open with notepad and edit the text here
