    Ok, AFTER you install MySQL, HeidiSQL , and Hamachi (if your going to use it). You will need to Follow these next steps to set up your WoW SERVER!

    Open Navicat , Click CONNECTION. A box will pop up, fill out the information. The MySQL password is what you used when installing MySQL 5.0.

    After you do that you will need to make Two (2) Database's , These you will name world and logon, you will make these by double clicking on the Connection name you juct made, then when you see the connection name go Green next to it. Right click it and click New Database, you will need to do this Twice (2) making World and Logon!

    Then Double click on the two (2) Database's you just made, they will then turn green next to them. When that happens you will right click Logon, then choose, Execute Batch File. Search your file where your repack is it will be under DATABASE. IN the repacks, double click Logon or Characters (Depends on which repack you used) Then after that you will do the same thing for World BUT when you go into repack to find it, will be named World.

    Now, while that is loading since the World file can take up to one (1) hour for some people, we will go Configure our CONFIG files in our repack. Click your Repack then go to Configs. Under that folder will be Configuration files. Logonserver , Realm , World , and Options. You will need to Configure Logonserver, Realm and World.

    First we will do Logonserver ,

    Change :

    <LogonDatabase Hostname = "host"
    Username = "user"
    Password = "pass"
    Name = "dbname"
    Port = "3306"
    Type = "1">
    to:

    <LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
    Username = "root"
    Password = "MYSQL PASSWORD"
    Name = "logon"
    Port = "3306"
    Type = "1">

    Now your World,

    Change:

    <WorldDatabase Hostname = "host" Username = "username" Password = "passwd" Name = "database" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
    <CharacterDatabase Hostname = "host" Username = "username" Password = "passwd" Name = "database" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
    to:

    <WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "MYSQL PASSWORD" Name = "world" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
    <CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "MY SQL PASSWORD" Name = "logon" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

    Now your Realm ,

    Change:

    <Realm1 Name = "Test Realm"
    Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
    Icon = "PVP"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">
    to:

    <Realm1 Name = "ANYTHING YOU WANT"
    Address = "LEAVE SAME , UNLESS YOU WANT PUBLIC IF SO USE HAMACHI IP:8129"
    Icon = "PVP"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    Now, your Navicat should be done or close to being done. After it is Done. Double click on world and logon (the database's you made, and they should refresh). Now with the Configs done, and Navicat up.

    Now TO START YOUR SERVER!!

    Go back to the Repack folder, You will see two (2) programs called Logonserver and World. Click them both (Run as Administrator if on Vista) And wait for them to load and then change your realmlist to either 127.0.0.1 or your Hamachi ip. There you go!!!!

    _________________________

    Answer before some people ask.
    ___________________________

    Changing Admin password or making Accounts manually.

    Go to Navicat, click the database you made (logon) then you will see a file named Accounts, double click it. Then you will see 1 account. (Admin) to change password click on the password section and rewrite. To make Accounts manually click the + sign at the bottom of that page and Account id = 2,3,4,5 and so on when creating them manually. Also, Username and Password THEN go to your right and make sure the Flag section is 40 if its for Wotlk and 8 / 9 for TBC, 0 for Regular WoW.

    Another question, Adding CUSTOM sql file to your Database. this is why i had you download HeidiSQL.

    Open that up and in password write your MySQL password, then click connect. Click on World on the left side, and then you will see alot of table pop on the middle screen. Click the Tab above that named SQL Query (it has a Green check mark) then you will see a blank white area. Drag the SQL files/items you have into there and then click the Blue > arrow. That will add them to your Database , then! restart your server.

    Other things you should do, in the Repack is Maps and Vmaps, place Maps in your world of warcraft file and fun the AD.exe program. Vmaps there also, run , and then run the Vmaps Assembler. Move the Maps folder to your Repack Folder where the logonserver and world.exe are! And your good to go!

    Credits Go to all of the Repack Makers on Mmowned, i don't take any credit for making these or any of the tool within them.

    Special thanks to Treston323 and x Elite x. They made some Amazing repacks and easy to setup! Thanks you guys.

    Any questions please feel free to post or Message me on MSN! :wave:

    Depending on which repack you use there is an extractor I believe. If you can't find one though you can piece it together with someone else's repack or dbc files/extractor.

    Well, you can use the other Repacks Database's or use the Base Database i have in the download section. It works as Char and World Database.

    Since these are Arc Emu Database's they can run with each other.

    No matter what repack i use, i get an error message while trying to execute the logon or world programs. It says that the file is invalid and cannot be executed (I'm not using an english version of Windows, so im not sure if it goes exactly like that, but anyway.) And it says that re-installing the program could solve the problem ._.

    Well, the Un-English version could be the problem, but i have seen enGB and enUS repacks being used. So that shouldn't be the problem. Make sure your Connection works, Install mysql 5.0 make the password and when setting up a Connection in Navicat, Click Test Connection and make sure that works. (And make sure YOU HAVE .NET Framework) then try to Execute the World and Logon/Char Database's.

    Need any help add my yahoo or msn and ill be glad to show you over Webcam or TeamViewer.

    Well, i've had 3 other private servers before this. and everything is going like it should. But i forgot to run the map extractor, so it could be due that, rofl. I'll do it now.

    Edit: Oh my ****ing god. It gave me an error after running vmaps for allmost an hour and then it was shut down. i have the vmaps i got before the shutdown though. It shuts down at "Processing map 13 33 expansion01...."

    Most these repacks can be used without Vmaps or Maps. It's not a need. I have ran plunty of Servers without them. So that shouldn't be the problem.

    Hmm, well, the thing is, its giving me an error you'd normally get while trying to run a corrupt/ripped program wich obviously has some files missing. i'll give you some info on the whole directory: 1st, the main directory is named "Ultimate 3.0.3 Server" inside it, there are 5 other files and a readme. the files are named "Database", "Extras", "Maps", "Server", and "Tools". The tools has a DB editor and 2 map extractors in it, the server has config files, ascent-logonserver.exe, ascent-realmserver.exe, ascent-voicechat.exe, ascent-world.exe, few DLLs, and 2 files with scripts and a file named dbc. Extra has a website template in it, maps is the file with the extracted maps in it. So everything should be normal from what i remember. I cannot find the problem. Navicat and the MySQL server are running fine, but the only problem is, that when i try to run one of the ascent-logonserver etc. programs, it just gives me the error. Are there any specific locations the files need to be in? Like in the wow directory or in a file with a specific name?

    Oh and here are my config files:

    Logonserver

    # This directive controls the amount of sessions that will be
    # accepted by the server before it starts to add people to
    # the server queue. GMs can login regardless of the playerlimit,

    #
    #    Breathing Setup
    # If the breathing code is causing problems or you want to run a fun server, you can disable
    # water checks by enabling this directive.
    #        Default: 1
    #
    #    Level Cap
    # This variable controls the level that stats will be generated up to internally.
    # Beyond this level players can still see a higher level visually but their stats won't
    #        increase beyond this point.
    #        Default: 70
    #
    #    Generated Level Level Cap
    # This variable controls the level at which stats will generate up to. Generally the formulas go
    # crazy after level 70 so this way you can keep the high visual but stats at a reasonable value.
    #       Default: 70
    #
    #    Seperate Channels Control
    # This directive controls whether horde and alliance chats will be seperated across channels.

    #        Default: 1000
    #
    #    Queue Update Rate
    # This directive controls how many milliseconds (ms) between the updates

    #
    #    Kick AFK Players
    # Time in milliseconds (ms) that a player will be kicked after they go afk.
    #        Default: 0 (disabled)
    #
    #    Connection Timeout
    # This directive specifies the amount of seconds that the client will be disconnected

    #        Default: 180
    #
    #    Realm Type
    # This is the realm type that will be used by the server to handle world pvp.

    #    MapUnloadTime
    # This directive controls whether to unload map cells after an idle period of <x> seconds.
    # Use on smaller servers or servers that are memory-limited. The server without cell unloading
    # can use over 1.2GB memory with all creatures loaded.
    #        Default: 0
    #
    #    LimitedNames
    # This directive forces all character names to be a-z and A-Z compliant.

    Do this, download the Theo's Funserver Repack or Blizzlike and run the Database from that repack into your navicat (make two (2) new Database's Named wowworld and wowlogon or wowchar. or whatever you choose, just remember if you do this you will need to open the logonserver and the world config files and fix them. (I found the Ultimate 3.0.3 repack a little bit different and really didn't please me, no disrespect to the maker. i give him credits for making it.)
