[Guide] Setting up a Arcemu server from the scratch

When i had the 1 succede and 2 failed, what i did to fix it is paste libmySQL.lib and libeay32.lib in ALL of the folders from VC90 on. (I wasnt sure what folder really fixed it but it worked.) Plz feel free to +rep me if this helped you, i hate being a leacher :\

Guide was fine , people just need to follow the readme file when compiling the binaries if using windows.

I followed your guide , server starts with no problem .. i join .. but i really think that whydb latest release is a piece of shit. Really bugged. Most classes cant heal , also when equipping gear some players die -.- Did i miss something , or can other people relative back to some of that on there server too ?

i finally figured it out how to make an account !
but i dont know how to make that account become a GM account ,
i tried usig GM commands but it doesnt work =(

Use Navicat Lite , its a free version. Download it , make a new connection, enter the same info as you did in SQLyog, connect. Then you see the same tables from you DB as in SQLyog.

Go into your account table, doubleclick the table " accounts " Then you will see your own account info. Find the line "GM" press AZ to be admin. Press the mark ""update record" at the button at navicat , on the symbol list.

Log on your server, play

Hi get this when I run the logonserver.exe and world.exe

I can log in but when I click on the realm it keeps bringing up the realm selection window. Please help!

I'm having a bit of a problem. I've done everything right but there isn't no script folder to load my LUA scripts. I even tried making a script folder in the ArcEmu folder and putting my LUAs in it but it seems like my ArcEmu won't load them...What's wrong?
