See what I don't understand When we change our Username and Password for the notepad editing in Logon and world, does that just randomly become username and password? I mean don't we use our information from MYSQL?
It's a ll abit mixed and I don't understand it

open Ie or firefox w/e you use and type 192.168.2.1 into the address bar
if that doesnt work try 192.168.1.1 and if a password box appears type in your username and pasword if you dont know it try typing admin in both username and password

Then the next bit will change depending on your router...

Need help. I have this setup the way the guide shows. excellent guide by the way +rep to you my friend but I cannot connect to the server. I am on my own home network and I am trying to connect from another computer on the network. I get to the point of it showing the realms. I select it and it keeps going back to the realm list after trying to login to that realm for a bit.

On my client I have to connect to the local address to even make connection to the server. if I put in my external IP or my DynDNS I am unable to connect. Any ideas?

A easier way to open ports, is to have a good firewall. (i perfer kaplansky firewall its high security is the best!) then when opening ports just do 1- 9999 UDP and TCP and it will open all the ports needed for anything you will need on your pc! Nice guide BTW

I don't think someone reading this or making a server for the first time could understand this, put a recommened repack, include mysql download, and navicat, and more detailed could be used, and not everyone's mysql is the same.
