I done it but it doesnt give me any exp it gives me reputation points? wtf?
what and where is this cache thing? the folder in the wow directory?
I found this guide to be very helpful. I have managed to create the vendor, got it to be a vendor, and spawned it fine. I then wrote the quest and entered it, finally figured out which number to change to get it to work and that seems fine. When you end the quest however, I don't know if it is the custom ring I made or a number in the quest table but it gives you the rewards, then tells you your inventory is full and I made the ring so you could only have one. The question mark stays over his head until I delete the first ring, and then finish again and get the ring again. I have gone through all the columns of the quest and I can't figure out why it tries to give you it twice, and since you can only own one it will not let you finish it.
It did this to me as well; I think it has something to do with the Unique property of the ring, and how you can only add one, like you said. I had a Necklace and experienced the same problem, and then when I deleted the Necklace I already had and tried completing the quest again, it worked. I think the "Inventory is Full" warning just means "You already have an item of that type" over in the Private Server world.
I'm thinking that you just need to ensure that no one has the ring before turning in the quest (hopefully yours is a one time only thing), OR have it so they have to pick a reward with the ring being one of them - They still won't be able to get multiple rings, but at least they can still choose another item instead of it and still complete the quest.
Hope it helps!![]()
It's a nice guide.
But i prefer the easy way. ADE 0.5
there you create a npc. a quest and link the quest to the npc...
but it sure is a nice guide.
Very nice man! Worked fine with no problems and was super easy, thanks alot+Rep
worked for me.
+Rep from me, I really like your guide!
But, when I try to connect to my database via Navicat, it says:
1045 - acces denied for user 'Admin´@´localhost´ (using password: YES)
Any solutions?
Yeah, I got the same problem as WhiteCrow, anyone?
Nice guide mate!
PS: Would love to see more coherent posters like you on the internet.![]()
What does it mean, "1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1"? I get that error when I try putting into my Navicat.
ah cool i may add some of my own quests to my server then thanks
