[GUIDE] Alterac Valley for your Realm!

Want Alterac Valley working so you can make custom quests and Mass PVP in it for your realm, Well read on!

Step 1: What we have to do here is make it accessable for everyone.

Open up Navicat for MySQL and search for Worldmap_info and open it

30 is Alterac Valley change these settings

ENTRY 30,30,0,3000,1,628.53,-207,39.0523,Alterac Valley,3

Leave the rest the same NOTE: Flags must be 3 and max players can be whatever.

Ok save and quit.

Step 2:

Now you say cool but how do i do i get friends in and I lash and say SIMPLE!

Open up Your Ascent then open Scripts:

Now Copy this into notepad:

function Alterac_Valley_A (pUnit, Event, pMisc)
pMisc:Teleport (MapId, X, Y, Z)
end
RegisterGameObjectEvent (EntryID,2,"Alterac_Valley_A")

Change the EntryID to 70000+ to be safe

For the MapID set it to 30 for AV and the X, Y, Z go to where you want the portal to take you do .recall port alteracvalley and find the place and do .gps

Now save it into the scripts file as (eg: Alterac_Valley Alliance.Lua make sure you put .lua

Step 3: Now to Spawn a Portal to Alterac Valley (if you want a NPC go to another guide but they work the same)

Open up Navicat and search for gameobject_names

Add a New column and change it to

(LUAentryID,4,DisplayID,Name,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0)

For the DisplayID here are some portal looks

4393 = Darnassus
4396 = Stormwind
4394 = Ironforge
4398 = Undercity
4395 = Orgrimmar
4397 = Thunder Bluff
6956 = Silvermoon
6955 = Exodar

Now start up your realm and go to the area you want to spawn it

Type .go spawn (entryID) 1 (keep the 1 on the end).

And thats it!

Good guide are the gy's and quests all working in it?

yeah go to link part 2 and just give a NPC the quest as it says in the guide. If you need a mob try make one but if it is a fun server just find an unused mob and type .npc info and spawn it in AV then add / delete quests to it. If you don't know how to delete them just type .quest and follow the promps.
