For everyone having trouble saying there navicat cant connect to root@localhost

I had the same problem just about all day and when i finally gave up and started back from scratch i had downloaded MySql 5.0 and installed it and configured it and after i had MySql 5.0 set up and working Navicat could connect to root@localhost. that might be what some of you guys out there problem is. Hope this helps you all out.

Actually if you're making a server Public without Hamachi, you need Databases from the Hostname you made on DynDNS or No-IP. Because if you have Developer's or Admin's and they need to Insert something into the server DB, they cant Connect to the "localhost" database, from the Host-Computer.
