Ok so I decided to go back to AC because the 2.4.x that sectorseven put out did not work out for me.

One improvement I've noticed here is taht I actually have gear and can loot...thanks for that. But unfortunately a problem here that I was having there (sectorsevens pack) was that I cannot talk to anybody or get quests. Another improvement is the trainers work for me where they wouldn't before. Are these known bugs that will be sorted or am I having some issue that is fixable? It won't even let me talk to people it's like there is no dialog. And the map will not discover like normal it stays as if I haven't been anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated on the quests portion!

PS: Don't mind me just adding things as I notice them.

1) On my rogue I got the skill dualwield and it will not let me dual wield. And for some reason this new green dagger I have put on gave me the shaman fire weapon skill. (can't remember the name.

2) It seems the only people I can talk to are guards and some trainers and most vendors if not all... other than that... nada.

My problem is that i get dc when im gonna do a char, so i did a char in the navicat.
Well when i am going to log in it says:
Login FAILED
And my Ascent-world says: Levelinfo not found

Access Denied for User Moocow @ Localhost (Using Password: Yes) I get this error when trying to run realmserver. I got everything up except for this. The whole game is fine, other than there are no quests and no speaking.

great I love it and I got it to work (downloaded the wrong ac repack >.<) just one question how do you get tickets when ever I do .gmticket get it says gets gm ticket wtf do I dooooooooo?

Do your quests work? I'm having so many bugs with this pack I have to believe I did something wrong versus the something being wrong with it because it seems nobody else is having the same issue I am. (duh lol) Could you read my post a bit above and let me know if you're having any of those problems I am and any ideas how to fix? If so I'll +rep ya for any descent answer that helps. Thanks in advance!

I had this problem it's a simple fix. Don't run realmserver, only logonserver and world. I'm also having the trouble with no quests and quite a few other bugs I listed in my post above. Please let me know if you figured out how to fix the quests problem.

kk thank you very very much for the guide!! but im having trouble when i try to open the ascent - logon server and the ascent world.... it comes up with

"the application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect"
i tried unpacking everything but it doesnt seem like its gonna work, any help??
