[GUIDE] How to set up phpBB3 forum!! :D[Newb Friendly]

First down load phpBB3 here :
DOWNLOAD HERE


Ones its done extract the phpBB folder into htdocs in ac web or in www folder at wamp server.


Now start mysql and apache.

Push at the install button and proceed to next step.

scroll down and push start install.

Choose your MYsql version.. just try all if your not sure.


Type in your hostname or ip or localhost.

leave server port blank.

Type in your MYsql name, password and database.

let ""Prefix for tables in database"" be phpbb_

Push proceed to next step.


One more time , procced to nest step

Now type in username,password,password again,email and email again.

Now proceed and proceed until it says login , push and your finished


Your now avable to use phpBB

There is no install button in the File. Only a install file that has other folders and php files. Each other folder only has text files or web page links.!?

Nah , just put the folder called phpbb3 into wamp or ac web and start up apache ,,, then it will get into then install automaticly
