[GUIDE]Server on hamachi, pics inc

there are many guides about this so.... im making another one XD

ive done this by hand so meh...



ok what you will need:
a Server
AND
hamachi (can be downloaded here: )

ok, now start you're hamachi, once its up and running, you will see like a little triangle near the bottom of the program:



click create network and a box will appear like this:



call the network what you want and password it...

now on the top fo your hamachi there will be big bold numbers like so :



NOTE: THIS IS ONLY MY HAMACHI IP, NOT YOURS

now, on your server files what ever your repack may be, open you logon-server.config and change the following details:

<Listen Host = "YOUR HAMACHI IP"
ISHost = "YOUR HAMACHI IP"

save and close.

then open your realms.config and change :

<LogonServer Address = "YOUR HAMACHI IP"

also:

<Realm1 Name = "SERVER NAME"
Address = "YOUR HAMACHI IP:8129" <--- remember to keep the "8129" as its the port for the realm. if not u will either get error on starting or realm loop.

save and close that and open world.config and change the following:

<Listen Host = "YOUR HAMACHI IP"

close that and your done!

start your server and then tell your friends your network name and password for hamachi,

EDIT: p.s. there seems to be a bit of a mix up with the realmlist, the realmlist is your hamachi IP!

example:
my realmlist would be:
set realmlist 5.186.165.122


please post any errors ive made or porblems you are having so i can edit my post and make it easier for people who are having the same problem.

Does this mean we just change the realmlist.wtf in the original file to our hamachi IP?

yes, when you open it in notepad it will say the retail realmlist, change it to say:

set realmlist <YOUR HAMACHI IP>

if u get realm loop you have missed one of the configs or a port is messed up check and double check your configs for port and hamachi IP corrections.

if its letting u login then ur loginserver is fine, will be in world of realms.config but check them all just incase

can someone here please help me...been searching for the answer to this through-out the forums for 3 days now with no luck.
Bind Unsuccessful on port ...
I keep getting this error and it closes, all ports are forwarded, firewall has ports open, even turned firewall off with no effect, tried bypassing router and running straight to net, computer account is the admin so it has full rights, all config files have been checked over and over...tried using different repacks, ac web ultimate, tried hamachi, no-ip, tried everything I can think of, yet it still keeps saying bind unsuccessful...if I have the addresses set to the 127.0.0.1 it gives me no problem, but soon as I change the correct ones to my no-ip or hamachi it fails the port binding

post ur configs, u might have a port messed up

if the ports are correct then the server wordl and logon server are gunna connect so just check the, if u find nothing post them and ill check them

updated, people having difficulty on the realmlist so changed it to show what mine would be, hope this helps
