hmmm fairly new to this stuff, I got a few other servers running that I looked at as a model to compare and see similarities and I'm guessing the map extractor has to be in the root directory of your WoW folder but when I use them none of the 4 work, any thoughts?

using Makevmaps3_simple.bat that gave me could not read dir_bin file and a bunch of error opening archive
mapextractor.exe gives me can't create output file and it lists all the maps like super fast speed.
Vmap3assembler and vmap3extractor a dos window pops up but closes too fast to see what the error is.

Now I don't have a Maps folder in my main wow directory. Should I create one? does it go in that folder? I wish it had a readme file but then again this is likely for people who already know the basics of where all these types of files go.

PS: so I googled some of my errors and in fact my assumption was right, you have to created a maps folder in your WoW directory, problem is... I still have the same issues.

Update: Running it as an Admin worked so far so good, if I have other errors I'll just edit my post again.
