    That's interesting. Very interesting.

I've not tested the MoP client yet, however I would expect it to behave in the same fashion as the TBC and WOTLK clients. In that, if you connect with an email address, it should initiate the battle net 2 protocol as built into the client.

The battle net 2 protocol uses a entirely different login process (bnet2_protcol [DarkBlizz.org SC2 Wiki]) which revolves around a module system as the core difference. The battle.net.dll in the root folder of WoW contains the code for this process - and has a hardcoded realmlistbn in it. The only way to modify this, is to modify the DLL. This sandbox does not do that(?).

So I looked at the commit log to try and find where it is handling the changes. I cannot see anything related to the battlenet2 protocol, it still uses old fashioned GRUNT.

So either the MoP client has changed the process of events, or @ doesn't flag the protocol (must contain domain as well), or I am missing something entirely.

I just patch the client t allow login with email addresses and the grunt protocol

Your sandbox is most impressive for what it has so far!

What would it take to get the entire item/gear database into your sandbox?

I cannot get the new version working - I can get as far as character creation, but as soon as I try to load the world, the game crashes out with an Access Violation. The patcher also doesn't seem to recognize the x64 executable, so maybe the build uploaded is broken?

    1. delete the whole folder,
    install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
    restart your pc!

    2. redownload the package and unzip the archive [https://dl.dropbox.com/u/68288568/Mo...o%20Fabian.rar

    3. open "START_MYSQL.exe"

    4. open "RealmServer.exe"

    5. open "WorldServer.exe"
