    Amaranthine's 2.4.3 OregonCore repack v1.0 [Weekly Updates!]

Hi guys, this is my first repack ever but I did my best to create the best experience possible. I plan to constantly add updates and provide easy instructions on how to apply them. I will remain very active in this thread answering any questions you may have.

    -Blizzlike 2.4.3
    -OregonCore Rev: 1419
    -Extremely stable core
    -90% scripted
-All 2.4.2 items, most 2.4.3 items.
-Set up in under 5 min.

Goal: To create a stable 2.4.3 repack that’s constantly supported and easy to update and setup. Updates will be on a weekly basis.

I have decided to leave V-maps as a separate download to help those with low download speed. V-maps are not mandatory to running the core and are disabled by default.

    Instructions:
    A) Connecting Locally
    1) Extract directly on the C drive using Winrar or what ever tool you use. The folder should be ‘C:\Amaranthine's Oregon Core Repack’. If you install to any other location YOU MUST change the datadir under Oregoncore.conf unless the core will crash.
    2) Double click oregonrealm.exe and oregoncore.exe wait for both to load up.
    3) Create your account by entering the following commands in oregoncore.exe without quotes.
Account create ‘account name’ ‘account password’
Account set gmlevel ‘account name’ 3
Account set addon ‘account name’ 1
    4) Set your realmlist to localhost or 127.0.0.1
    5) Connect and have fun!

    B) Making your server live!
    1) Create an account at dyndns.com and setup a free DNS.
    2) Get your inside IP address.
-For XP: Hit start, click run, type in CMD, press enter. Then type in ipconfig, the IPv4 address if your inside IP in most cases.
-For Vista and 7: Hit the orb, type in CMD, press enter. Then type in ipconfig, the IPv4 address if your inside IP in most cases.
    3) Set up your hosts file for machines inside your network Add a line to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts that looks like this:
    -InsideIP DnsName
    -Example: 192.168.1.8 wowsvr.homelinux.net
    4) Use a program like Navicat to access your MYSql server. The Username is Root, and the Password is Root.
    5) Open the realmd table, then click realms.
    6) Edit the IP address and change it to your dnydns host name.
    7) Time to forward ports, this is different for every router so I can’t have you on this step:
    Forward port 3724 (tcp)
    Forward port 8085 (tcp)

If you have any further questions or problems feel free to ask. Be sure to post your config files and any crash logs with any problems you may be having so I can quickly find your solution.

    Known issues:
-.server restart crashes the core (Fix on the way)
-.tele add crashes the core (.tele still works)
-First boss in Naxx occasionally crashes the core.
    -Missing some Arena items.

    FAQ:
    Q: Is it stable?
A: Its very stable, however no core is perfect.

Q: How do I apply updates?
A: I will provide updates on a weekly basis and will provide instructions on how to apply them at that time.

Q: No one can connect to my server.
A: Make sure your dyndns is set up properly, and you have forwarded the required ports.

Q: Oregon-core program stops with a complaint about DBC files or maps.
A: Make sure you extracted the repack to the C drive, or if you chose a different install location, make sure you changed your datadir under oregoncore.conf.
