    This did not fix the issue. Now I just get the golden gear as if an action was possible. The highlighting and tooltip still occurs.
    I tried changing them all to type 14 although this just presented me with most of the objects not spawning.

    As I mentioned earlier I already tried 14 but it made a lot of the gameobjects vanish (when spawned the GUID was there although the object was not visible).

    You know how when you get a certain distance away they disappear anyway to fix that? I mean isn't a big deal but a hella lot easier than Noggit :P

    It takes the flags for tooltips and glowing and disables them.
    If you're on mangos or trinity just edit object.h in your mangos or trinity src folder under game. In object.h youll find max_visibility_distance its usually set at 333.0f set that to say....99999. Then go into your server config and edit the visibility distance.

    Thank you Iotech, your SQL worked perfectly on my Trinity 4.3.4. However, the DBC file is not formatted for the 4.3.4 Trinity core. When one tries to use the DBC file on the core, it causes the World to freeze and shut down 9/10 times. It also makes it bug to where you cannot see any NPC's or type anything in say, guild, yell, general chat, etc.

    I replaced the DBC file I downloaded from here for Cata with the original DBC file, and the core became nearly 100% stable with no side effects.

    Now I have all of the [Patch] objects, minus the 'bad' ones, but cannot use the provided DBC file to get the game to recognize the ID's for the custom objects.

    Does anyone have a suggestion on how to pull the DBC file for the custom game objects onto a trinity core DB 4.3.4 Version 15595?

    Thanks Spyro and Raz for the hard work, it must have taken a while. Also thank you Ion. Any help with the DBC file problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Okay, to start off, I'm quite busy with college and do not officially support the patch anymore (as may have been noted by my very infrequent visits). I'll answer some questions though.

    This patch works as fine on mac as it works on windows. You just need a correctly patched client, and with available tools it is not difficult to make.

    You can spawn NPCs with special models such as the lich king. You cannot (correctly) spawn regular races such as humans or orcs, since they show all geosets and do not load a skin.

    I've been trying to fix this issue for the past two hours or so, but I'm having no luck whatsoever.

    When I mouse over certain Gameobjects, their names, from the database, are showing up in a small tooltip along with the entire object being highlighted. This seemed like a fairly easy fix, so I went to the TrinityCore wiki and carefully combed through the information on the gameobject_template section in an attempt to fix any and all custom Gameobjects from this release. The queries executed flawlessly and updated all of the Gameobjects from the release. Upon restarting worldserver I logged in and to my dismay, the tooltips continued to show up.

    I've googled around for a little bit, but I haven't found much. I have tried using both the 4 and 16 flags, but they make no difference. The one fix which may work according to this thread would require me to remove the names of each and every gameobject. I absolutely refuse to remove the names as they're necessary to know what each object is.

    If anyone has a suggestion on how I might be able to fix this issue, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Help!

    Hi guys. I'm not good at these (scripting,mysql etc.). I have used gameobject patch earlier on a private server(paradox wow, doesn't exist anymore) and I just had to copy/paste patch-D.mpq to data folder and it worked, now I have created my own private server (arcemu 3.3.5), and I'm trying to be able to use this patch on my server...but the problem is that i don"t understand this::Additionally, you'll need to unpack and execute the SQL batch in this zip (ArcEmu, TrinityCore or MaNGOS) into your database.
    On top of that, you need to download this file, unzip it, and replace the original dbc file with this one!. Can somebody show me cuz i dont know how to execute the SQL batch?

    I installed the (admittedly unsupported) 4.3.4 version. I can't see the objects >.<

    I've put the MPQ into the WoW data folder, I've run the SQL and replaced the DBC in the server. When I spawn them the usual lines come up about the GUID, rotation, ID etc.

    Any help?

    To your issue, BeefPie, make sure you have a custom patched client so that the patch doesn't auto-delete. Another problem is that a massive amount of the 4.3.4 clients do not support custom patches for whatever reasons I cannot explain. I've only found one so far.

    If you're still having problems with highlightable objects, my server which has the 4.3.4 patch version uses this variant:

    UPDATE `gameobject_template` SET type = 10 where entry between 500000 and 553188 and type = 5;
    UPDATE `gameobject_template` SET type = 10 where entry between 4000000 and 4002169 and type = 5;
    UPDATE `gameobject_template` SET data1 = -1 where entry between 500000 and 553188 and type = 10;
    UPDATE `gameobject_template` SET data1 = -1 where entry between 4000000 and 4002169 and type = 10;

    The result is;

    537119 10 58881 Helm_Robe_DungeonRobe_C_01_DrF.M2 [PATCH] 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1
