re-downloaded the repack.. and reinstalled... everything is back to default (installed the scriptdev2 sql update) working now.. just don't know why I can't use my host to hold the sql. but it looks like that is the problem.. either the data is not getting sent fast enough or the import is not done right. .. guess I have to figure out how to do it from my main PC and still make it so it is not lagging really bad when I want to play and have others on the server. want to make it puplic with web server (part of the repack) on the web. (wowlabs.org) want realmlist and all that to update from web tried to change realmd to connect to my host.. but it needs everything to be setup from 1 location or the other to work correctly... (IE players on line, player maps.. and so on.) any help on how to config this work be great.

goga12 the Sql Patch you are asking about . you need to use navicat and import the sql into your local host. the program is bundled with the repack.. and the settings are very simple. open the app click connection > mysql > new connection. Settings are:

Host name/IP address: = localhost
Port = 3306
user name: root
password = ascent

then when you get connected.. click on scriptdev2 and it will turn green then just drag and drop the sql update onto the words... and a new box will open up.. jsut press start .. (takes about 1 min to finish) and you should be good to go.

Your Second Post:
more then likely you are still useing Version 29 SQL files.. did you install Version 30? if so it should reset your SQL to the new version.. if not... not sure what you should do... I know it did that for me.

Use Navicat - SQLYog
Username: root
Password: ascent
Come in in the database
Relamd database, realmlist tables set 127.0.0.1 to external IP

having the same problem,

bind IP is set as external IP address or my DNS server (no-ip.org)

realmd >> realmlist has been updated to the DNS (also tried the IP address itself)

getting the same error as b3njee567

are your ports open? have you corrected the realmd.conf to the correct port? is your DB realmlist port correct?
