[Website] Simple WoW Server Tools and Site (To get you started)

Simple Server Site v1
First I would like to say this is not my template, the template is a free one anyone can download off the wow site itself. I did some recoding re organizing and made it into a more server type site.As I am not good at php I used releases by Blackboy and Jesper for the main parts and a few of my own simple scripts

-Registration Page
-Vote Panel(credits Jesper for this)
-Realm Status(credits Blackboy)
-Player Status(credits Blackboy)
-Latest Forums Posts(credits Blackboy)
-gallery
-Integrated menu for easy editing(this was mine, one menu.html included on all the pages makes editing the links a whole lot easier)

If peolpe like it I will update and add more stuff to it.

How to set this website up:

The website is very simple to set up but there are a few parts you need to set up for you self.

To edit links: in the includes folder there is a file called menu.html open it up in notepad dreamweaver ect you will see were to edit the links or you could add more ect

Configuring the server scripts:
There are 4 pages that are vital to the website working right they are:
lposts.php
realminfo.php
status.php
register.php

They are very easy to set up at the top of every page you will find the directs just open them up and edit them with your details. If you need help just ask here

The gallery is already set up all you have to do is inside the gallery folder there is another folder called gallery just drag the pictures you want in there and they will be automatically resized into thumbnails very easy. Nothing else is needed.


Vote Panel There is a read me inside the Vote folder follow it and you will do just fine if you need help just ask


News The news posts are just text based just open up your web editor notepad or dreamweaver or whatever and edit or delete them to make a new one just copy and paste the divs and there you go

Approved because of the registration, realm status, player status and that it is a starter package for servers opening, but for future reference the forums and general homepage etc do not belong in this section and would go in the html section if released seperatly.

stoneharry, i think we need a vote on that because a lot of good websites were released in here, and now were not seeing them released anywhere. Now that we have forced mod approval I think the mods should be allowed to decide the quality of a site and if its not just some quick 5 second throw some images down for rep thing. Maybe talk to other mods about this?

There is one, its called HTML. What mager is saying is have the mods deem wow specific sites good enough to be posted here or not.

when i hit register page it shows nothing
